Inter Milan v Barcelona

Verdict: These sides will meet for the third time in this edition of the Champions League, following their confrontations in the group stages. In those respective meetings, they played out a scoreless draw in Italy while Barcelona won 2-0 in Spain.

Inter Milan have done very well to progress to this stage of the competition under the guidance of master tactician, Jose Mourinho. Typical of Mourinho's sides, Inter Milan rely on efficiency in front of goal and good organisation in defence. I feel that the Italians have the credentials and the form to hault the footballing machine that is Barcelona, at least in Italy. Unlike Arsenal, Barcelona's previous opponents, Inter Milan have the experience to slow down the game and keep possession of the ball when required.

Barcelona have drawn 7 of their last 8 away games in Europe and with a 450 mile bus journey to endure, maybe the Catalans will settle for a draw. Inter Milan will of coarse try to take an advantage into the second leg but a draw will not be the end of the world for Mourinho's men.

Pick: Draw 1X2 @3.35 (188bet, 6 units)
Inter Milan 3 - 1 Barcelona
