USA v Turkey
Verdict: USA manager, Bob Bradley, will let his star players loose on Turkey as they play their final game on home soil. The visitors are undefeated on their tour of the US so far with wins over the Czech Republic and Northern Ireland. On Wednesday, an experimental US team went down 4-2 to the Czech Republic with star players Dempsey, Donovan, Howard, and Bradley not taking part.
The American team that will take to the field this evening wil be the same team that performed so well at the Amsterdam Arena back in March, only to go down 2-1 to the Dutch through a penalty and an unfortunate deflection. Turkey ofcourse didn't qualify for the World Cup after finishing 3rd in their qualifiers behind Spain and Belgium. The Turkish national team is in a rebuilding phase at the moment with a new manager in Guus Hiddink at the helm, and veterans Emre Azik and Okan Burak retiring midweek. In front of a 60,000 strong home crowd, I expect the Stars and Stripes to put on a good show for their fans against a Turkish side that had to battle the stifling heat in Connecticut just 3 days ago.
Pick: USA DNB @1.76 (sbobet, 10 units)
USA 2 - 1 Turkey
